Introduction from the FlyingBinary Founders
FlyingBinary is a UK based SME which is changing the world with Deep Technology. We are focused on an inclusion mission, that is to leave no one behind from the use of technology. From the launch of our company we have been committed to building technology services which combat slavery and human trafficking.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery across all areas of our company, as well as our supply chains. We are committed to ensuring we are not connected to modern slavery in any way. Beyond this we have created deep technology services which are used to combat modern slavery and human trafficking.
We aim to ensure that our business operates in an open and transparent way. Our approach to tackling modern slavery thorughout our supply chains is consistent with our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
FlyingBinary uses the deep engineering skills of our Founders alongside the Web Science we have pioneered across the world to transition organisations and nations to the Industrial Internet of Things.
Our policies on slavery and human trafficking
We have a business model which is focused on working in partnership with all of our business partners, suppliers and clients to ensure that they work towards the same values we hold against slavery and human trafficking. To manage these values, as part of our contracting processes, we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, and we expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards. We also ask our suppliers to confirm their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our anti-slavery policy is available to all our staff via our shared document repository, and we inform our suppliers of our commitment to preventing modern slavery through their service contract.
Due diligence process for slavery and human trafficking
As part of our commitment to tackling modern slavery and human trafficking, we:
- Identify, mitigate and monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains
- Work with our supply chains to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015
- Build long-standing relationships with our suppliers
- Encourage the reporting of any wrongdoing and protect whistle-blowers
- Provide deep technology services as part of our product offering to identify modern slavery and human trafficking activities
The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our organisation or supply chains is the responsibility of all those working for us or under our control. Employees are required to avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy. Employees are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue or suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our organisation or supply chains at the earliest possible stage.
Supplier adherences to our standards
We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We are committed as an organisation to tackling modern slavery and human trafficking and choose to work with suppliers who share our values.
The FlyingBinary Founders are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.
